Mr. Jacobs is a powerful practitioner of [[wp>West African Vodun]]. He was captured by French slavers in the 18th century and transported to [[wp>Saint-Domingue]]. After only a few years in captivity he escaped to [[wp>Louisiana]]. In Louisiana he heavily influenced [[wp>Louisiana Voodoo]] until he came to the attention of the European Wizards (i.e. [[groups:White Council]]). It was their support of slavery that led to so much suffering, so there is no chance of a reconciliation between the two. He knows the laws and does not break them; although like many wizards he does bend them heavily at times. | Mr. Jacobs is a powerful practitioner of [[wp>West African Vodun]].
