Mr. Jacobs

Former West African slave now American Voodoo Priest

Mr. Jacobs is a powerful practitioner of West African Vodun. He was captured by French slavers in the 18th century and transported to Saint-Domingue. After only a few years in captivity he escaped to Louisiana. In Louisiana he heavily influenced Louisiana Voodoo until he came to the attention of the European Wizards (i.e. White Council). It was their support of slavery that led to so much suffering, so there is no chance of a reconciliation between the two. He knows the laws and does not break them; although like many wizards he does bend them heavily at times.

Mr. Jacobs is a tall black man with a lanky build. He is nearly always seen in a nice suit, dress shoes, and with either a Panama Hat or Top Hat. Additionally he is almost never without his can, which is topped with a human skull. Most people would consider it quite the oddity, but it serves to focus his will.

He speaks French, English, and Arabic as a native, with a smattering of Spanish and Russian.
