Death Heads

The death heads can trace their lineage back to the resistance against Roman incursion into what was then called Germania. The sacrificial rites of the Germani had drawn the attention of ancient spirits of the land. These spirits forged a pact with a few of the warriors, granting them an eternal life of battle.

The body of a Death Head is not eternal although they can live a long life and heal far more rapidly that a normal human. When a Death Head does die, the spirit will return to the lands of Germania and see out a new host.

The Sons of Abraham is a Kabbalah group that has since the 1950s dedicated themselves to the entrapment of the Death Heads. The spirits are nearly impossible to lock in a cage, expect one of a willing host. The Sons gather willing volunteers and subject them to vigorous training to accept and struggle against the spirit. As long as the host is willing the spirit will remain. The Sons can then simply confine the host.
