Death Heads

The Death Heads can trace their lineage back to the resistance against Roman incursion into what was then called Germania. The sacrificial rites of the Germani had drawn the attention of ancient spirits of the land. These spirits forged a pact with a few of the warriors, granting them an eternal life of battle.

While they can live a long life and heal far more rapidly that a normal human, the body of a Death Head is not eternal. When a Death Head does die, the spirit will return to the lands of Germania and seek out a new host.

They are drawn to battle and wars. Germany's long warlike attitudes were due to their influence into the government and culture of the times. They gladly took part in Hitler's campaign and relished in the bloodshed that they were able to commit during this time.

After Hitler fell, Germany was gripped by a strong anti-war sentiment. For the first time, they left Europe and sought out more fertile soil in other areas of the world. There have been reports of them in the Middle East in recent years, and at least one has been reported with the Somalia pirates.

Main Article: Sons of Abraham

The Sons of Abraham is a Kabbalah group that has since the 1950s dedicated themselves to the entrapment of the Death Heads. The spirits are nearly impossible to trap. The Sons of Abraham have found that they can trap one of these spirits in the body of a trained and willing host. Between training and the spells they forge on the person's body, the spirit cannot take control of the host and is rendered powerless. The Sons gather willing volunteers and subject them to vigorous training to accept and struggle against the spirit. They do gain a similar longevity as a normal host of the Death Heads, but are typically so bound into the struggle that they do little else.
