viola was born in the never never to a human mother and a fae father.

her mother was a contemporary of Shakespeare, born in 1550.

Viola was raised on stories of England at that time. The modern world is a little incomprehensible to her at times.

At some point, viola fell in with a warlock who took her as a lover and also trained her to be an assassin. She did his bidding for a number of years before the white council caught up with him. She managed to escape, but was badly wounded. The wardens of the white council that executed the warlock might recognize Viola when she manifests as a fetch. There may also be a file on her in a dusty back room of the white council. It was while she was recovering from her wounds that she realized she had been under a compulsion to work for the warlock. This whole experience has had a great effect on how she sees men and how she sees wizards. She drifted for a number of years - taking odd jobs here and there. At some point in the seventies she actually worked as Jack's secretary. She started to understand after a while that Jack was a man out of time with a strong code of ethics.

At some point Viola was acquainted with Brian's father. She was interested in him, but Brian's father was already dating Brian's mother. She did not realize at the time that Brian's father was in the know. She never revealed to him that she was a changeling.

Currently she is once again Jack's secretary. She and Jack have not discussed why neither one of them appears to have aged. They avoid the subject as much as they can.

She lives a life balanced on the edge. One side is a party lifestyle with an endless parade of boys and boyfriends. lots of drinking lots of screwing around. The other side of her lifestyle is an efficiency apartment that doesn't have a TV and has only had a radio for a couple of years. Now she is thinking about all those years she's lived with no real accomplishments and wondering if she can somehow make a difference. When she manifests as a fetch she changes from a short redheaded woman to a taller scarecrow raggedy ann looking thing. Her arms and legs extend, her face and body lose symmetry, her hands grow vicious looking claws.
