The lands of the Mab, the Queen of Air and Darkness, are treacherous, barren, and harsh. The lands of Deep Winter are all that and so much more. It was here that you watched and learned being known as the Spook of Deep Winter for the secrets you uncovered. Many times you were unsure of purpose, but never of being in the wrong place just simply not yet the right time.

A different being came to the ice and slew the fae before it. Such power in this woman and upon here was the mark of Maeve, Lady of the Winter Court. While she battled you were Drawn to this Woman of Power yet you remained in her shadow. When you judged the was right you left the dark ice and slew the woman, taking up her sword and mantle of power. Onyx Mist is yours forever.

You returned to Maeve's court, but did not present yourself to her. Unlike the absolute of the ice, her court was a swirling mess. It was here that you learned that True Power is about Proxies and Fealty. As you were in the ice, so you were in court - a shade that stayed on the edge watching and waiting. In time you saw the truth for what it was and so moved from the shadows of the Court.

Many times you have ventured into the world of mortals - sometimes at the command of Maeve and occasionally on your own. As is the Court the mortals hide their intentions and you ferret them out. You use the truth to gain power in the mortal world for Maeve. You draw those mortals of the shadows into her Court - and kill those who oppose you. This takes a great deal of time as The truth is often strange and buried deep.
