This is an old revision of the document!

Changes

  1. Uses the Four Actions and Outcomes as outlines in FateCORE

Block

This has been moved and put into the Create an Advantage where it still exists in FateCORE. It is not as rules-heavy as the Block Rules in Dresden, but that is a good thing.

Grappling

Removed the overly complicated grappling rules in place of advantages, since aspects are true, allowing attacking with Physique instead of Fight.

  1. Remove the Social Stress Track, will use Mental instead

Many of the skill changes are simply renames to the terminology used in FateCORE. A few of the skills are removed and merged with existing skills. The order of the table is according to the Master Skill List for Dresden Files RPG to make conversion easier.

All stunts must match the FateCORE methodology. They are designed to represent a limited focus of a skill - a specialization. Stunts should be limited to either a single (or at most 2 actions) with a single skill in a limited set of circumstances.

These are represented as Extras in the FateCORE system - no changes needed from the base rules.
