Jonathon is the father of [[Bryan McDowell]]; although he disappeared from his life several years ago.

Jonathon appears in the [[campaigns:Brothers War]] Case File where it is revealed that he is member of the [[dresden>Order of the Blackened Denarius]]. It is unknown which coin he holds, but his involvement in that Case File was non-detrimental to the goals of the [[groups:Midnighter's Club]]. It is suspected that he wanted the operation to fail for his own reasons.
